When a major insurer sued our client for a refund of nearly $500,000 paid in benefits, we fought back and turned the entire case around. A major disability insurer claimed, upon learning of our client’s efforts at attempting to work, that it was defrauded and it sued for the refund.
We sued back, claiming that the client was fully entitled to ongoing benefits. After an extended battle, we convinced the insurer to dismiss its lawsuit and pay our client a significant sum to settle his counter suit.
