Our law firm made a donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in honor of former client, Mitchell Katz, who recently passed away. The donation was made to assist the Ronald McDonald House in their efforts to expand their facility.
On March 15th, the firm received an acknowledgment letter with an update from the Executive Director, Silvana LaFerlita Gullo, indicating that an expansion of their facility is now complete. The 24 bedroom, 4 story tower can now accommodate hundreds of families.
The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island provides comfort and shelter to families experiencing the pain and stress of having a sick child in an area hospital. A home away from home, families turn to the Ronald McDonald House for physical and emotional comfort.
