Founder of Schwartz, Conroy & Hack to Speak at Seminar for Medical Professionals

NEW YORK, November 3, 2005 — Evan Schwartz, the founder of Schwartz, Conroy & Hack, was recently asked to speak at a seminar for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) physicians and other medical professionals. Sponsored by AIG Insurance Company and hosted by the Mineola, NY law firm of Baker Sanders Barshay Grossman Fass Muhlstock & Neuwirth, the seminar focused on highlighting the importance of investing in asset protection.

The night’s agenda included identifying and explaining the rigors of the claims process and discussing the possible solutions. Speaking among a panel of seasoned attorneys, Mr. Schwartz discussed proper corporate structure for physicians and shared his expertise on the recent changes in case law that have significantly impacted the billing collection practices of health care providers.

Evan Schwartz has devoted many years to long-term disability insurance and other insurance litigation, representing policyholders exclusively. He has previously represented insurance companies and was instrumental in setting legal precedent in the field of insurance law that continues to impact cases today. Mr. Schwartz is an adjunct professor of Insurance Law at Touro Law Center and speaks frequently at legal and business conferences regarding insurance law issues. His practice includes all aspects of litigation in the areas of Insurance Litigation, Disability Income Insurance Litigation, and Class Actions.
